Mount And Blade Mods Gun

Geocaching literary Contra-Dancing

by Catherine hear of a new social invention for book lovers:

Have you ever experienced that wonderful feeling to find a geocache? "The equivalent to find a valuable treasure, and immense wealth, or just childhood memories of a kid (on the Amélie ). "Bookcrossing " allows you to combine this feeling with a new one, to find a book that has left a deep impression on someone, and wants to share it with others.

The exercise is quite simple: read a book, mark it with your personal number (which is awarded after you log into a web page) and you let go of it: give it to some known, "olvídatelo" on the bus, or a coffee shop, work, or just put it in a box with other Arti ; ass for charity.

In turn, when you're one of the books marked with the signs of the usual bookcrossing record their findings, so it is easier to track the sites you have past and as "owners" who has had, while getting some idea of the imprint it has left in their reading of the work.

But thinking, I realize that the effect of "wonder of discovery is almost of greater proportions to that which emerges from the book and then find out the impact it has had on others Who knows if thousands.

My Throat Burns After Using Afrin

I have no idea how to translate the name this dance into Castilian. There are only four or five basic steps, and endlessly combined to create dizzying choreography piece about twenty minutes, they let you on the verge of vomiting.

have your partner, and I start every dance situáis in two rows facing each other. Each combination of steps do you go constantly changing your position in line, thereby exchanging at least a couple of steps with absolutely everything else in the room. The music is part of a violíny a banjo, and of course the inevitable voice of the master of ceremonies, announcing the order of steps with grace and charm.

After an hour jumping, spinning blades and other crossing, my stomach was not a little tired, so I sat a while and make & # 233, we had a camera to record the colleagues getting involved and enjoying it. Click to see it and laugh a little:

Free Plans How To Make A Dunebuggy

Download all the mp3 of a directory on a web page

$ wget - no-parent-r-l2-A.mp3 "http : / / www.r adiocrazy.com/shows2/T/TarzanOfTheApes / "
I must say that I used to do these routines with wget , but for some strange reason & # 243; n da tonight foot-ball, and I had to get a look at how to use curl in place.

Check out the next page of OTRs ("Old Time Radio Shows "): http://www.radiolovers.com/ . Is a collection of old radio series in various U.S. networks, with the copyright surplus reached (hence the we can go down without violating any law). Among them, we see jewelry as adaptations of novels by Orson Welles several Campbell Playhouse in or your time before the Mercury Theatre (remember what the & # 8220; joke "War of the Worlds?). If you like detective crime novels, then you have to Philip Marlowe or Nero Wolfe , if you is science fiction, it's all X Minus One whole, "cowboy?" Which you please; " mystery? "too. For series that do not stay.

To download all files in one go, you can do the following: Suppose we want to get off the "Tarzans." Come to the corresponding page
http://www.radiolovers.com/pages/tarzanoftheapes.htm
and note that the files are hosted on we http://www.radiocrazy .com/shows2/T/TarzanOfTheApes / under 1932 directories, ..., 1952. In each annual folders indicated find mp3 files with names like 001.mp3, 032.mp3 , etc.

curl A command appropriate to remove all these files to your hard drive can be, therefore, something like this: $ mkdir tarzan

$ curl http://www.radiocrazy.com/shows2/T / Tarz anOfTheApes / [1932-1952] / [001-100]. mp3-or Tarzan n / # 1 / # 2.mp3

That Gasol

What
Admission is more face in Minneapolis? A separate crappy theater, watch the Grizzlies Gasol against the Timberwolves, a more serious drama based on all known types of puppets there, the late WCHA (Western Collegiate Hockey Association, University Hockey League of the Americas), dinner with show comedians, or a dinner "game" ?

Interestingly, all costs the same (if you know what mount): Fifteen pichurros.

Brent Corrigan And Everest

A game "Call for Muskie Study Mathematicians"

In this country, which is an exalted pleasure to compete in any discipline, we find large fishing tournaments that reward the capture volume, speed and of course, the size of the larger pieces. And like any sport, there are always legends to dethrone.

first page of the newspaper in Duluth News Tribune an article appeared on February 23 titled " Mathematicians call for Muskie Study ", which explains how the Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame (an organization that is responsible for putting in place historically the best anglers in this country) has requested the services of several mathematical to verify and determine whether a record set in the past for a legendary fisherman "Muskies" (muskellunge, pike, come on) is true.

Teachers involved in this study were Joe Gallian (University of Minnesota at Duluth), Dorian Goldfeld (Columbia University) and our dire, Professor Douglas Arnold (IMA). The analysis of these scientists was based on the study of certain old photographs. After a careful work, the three mathematicians independently agreed that the proposed size of record fish shown in the images they had received could not be confirmed mathematical & # 225; automatically, and so informed the historical institution and sport ... and as usual, the institution prepared a document explaining how avalaban scientists with their studies that record. What sense does it misrepresent a result when this is contrary to your intentions? "Hopefully nobody will notice be" shrewd guess they thought the charge of Fishing Hall of Fame.

insulted, attacked in his professional pride, both teachers directly involved and their colleagues have started this little crusade in which demand is tentatively properly cite them (at least) . Professor Arnold himself sent a document, like a mathematical paper to appear in a popular science magazine for the layman, carefully explained the procedure followed in his particular case study in question. I reproduce below my particular translation of the document:
Controversy world record pike fishing

Dr. Douglas N. Arnold.
Professor of Mathematical Sciences, and director of Institute for Mathematics and Its Applications

According to the National Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame , the piece that gives the world record size catch of pike (Esox species masquinongy ) was charged by Louis spray on 20 October 1949. This size has been considered as not correct, and consequently The record has been put into question. More information on this matter can be obtained on the pages of Fresh Water Fishing National Hall of Fame , and the World Record Muskie Alliance .

On November 28, 2005, Scott Allen, executive member of the Board of Trustees the National Fresh Water Hall of Fame Fishig requested my services. I sent several copies of the same photo of Spray with pike that gave the record, and asked if it was mathematically possible to estimate the length of the fish with this picture, and the additional data on the height Spray (six feet, about 1.83 meters). The text reads exactly: "We Need Someone of Highly credible mathematics background (Preferably a Dr. of Mathematics) to do the Calculation of the length of the fish in the photo. We expect the process to take Entire Sale less than an hour. Unfortunately, not can we accept a compensation offer Any big thank-you in Our monthly publication (called The Splash) Distributed Nationally to all of Our members, and the media. "
The picture that heads this post was submitted. Would you like to try to approximate the size of the fish before you post the rest of the solution of Professor Arnold?

Help the police and army

Esta misma mañana llega un correo electrónico con esta petición tan curiosa:
The IMA has been contacted by a homicide investigator from a Virginia police department. He sent a security camera video of a car leaving a gas station after a homicide. It is believed that the perpetrator is in the car, so the police would like to determine the car make and model and other possible identifying information, but, because of the quality of the video, Are Unable to do so by direct viewing. To this end, They Are Eager to Have the help of imaging experts.

If You are interested in. Obtaining a copy of the video to see if you CAN help, let me know and I'll give you a website and a password for Obtaining it (as a 1.4 MB AVI file). ---

Douglas N. Arnold, Professor of Mathematics and IMA Director
And a few months ago, another similar petition, this time from the U.S. Air Force: We Have Made
a large data set available Obtained by radar imaging of a backhoe , courtesy of the Air Force Research Lab, Including 2D and 3D challenge problems. You Can find the data on the IMA computer system
(*not* on the web) at /xxx/xxx/xxxx/xxxx

You may use this data here at the IMA. If you wish to export it to your own computers, please request a copy of the DVD from AFRL as explained in the README file.
3GB
This is a sample of a much larger (90GB) dataset. We plan to make the full dataset available soon. ---

Desert Eagle Metal Canada

In Winter (II) (Ultimate Freeze- bee)

temperatures continue to fall, and our bodies are getting used more and darker and the cold. Every weekend the locals are taking to the streets to enjoy the few rays of sunshine through the clouds that point, but instead of meeting in parks, as they do when the weather is pleasant, are going all out on the frozen surface of any of the big lakes in the city to let their imagination. Do you remember the notes was water-skiing in Mississippi? Well that's nothing, have a look at the photos below (you know, click on them to enlarge them) with the following questions in mind: What
 • s & # 243, n tents Hstau behind in the first picture? Hint: They are related to the activity they are doing those at the bottom in the photo second.
 • What does the white hat in the second picture? Hint: It is related to the third photo.
 • In fact, the answer to the second question is "mount a comet. " In my Flickr can see some very funny photos with comets. Of this in particular, what do you think it represents? Hint: It is what it seems. Where
 • chavalote is coming like a bullet to Cristina, who was taking the picture? Hint: related to the colors of the jacket in the first picture Hstau.
 • And finally, you can see how I approach the group of imams, who were preparing to throw a party of "ultimate freeze-bee" ;: jurgol a kind of American but skating and juggling a ball instead of the frisbee melon. The skates I bought them last week in a hockey shop. What skates cost? Hint: they are second hand but in excellent condition.

Do I Need Snow Chains In Vancouver

re

The left image shows a usual X-ray: An X-ray field parallels are emitted from a uniform network on a plane. All rays start with the same intensity, and after passing through the subject, these intensities are reduced at different rates depending on the density of the material (muscle, bone and other tissues) by The rays pass, as a result, the plate with the sensitive material which contains the X-ray shows a very good approximation inside the subject, but that seems inadequate, for example when searching for an evil purpose that may be very deeply located between objects of greater density.

The second image is the result of computerized axial tomography (better known in the medical world by the acronym CAT) on the same subject. In this case, the parallel X-ray beam is located on a uniform network segment. This segment is rotated about an axis on the subject slowly until complete 360 degrees, and each pause, take the intensities received after the broadcast. As a result, we get a picture square, each of its columns providing information on emissions at different angles. In the picture above is collected 180 breaks, and the parallel beam consisted of 100 bulbs.

But this image is not easy to interpret, is where one has to use the power of mathematics, more specifically techniques An & # 225; advanced mathematical analysis and numerical analysis addressing the reversal of the Radon transform. After a series of numerical calculations (based on algorithms that after more a century are still being perfected), the doctor will get the following picture:
analysis of patients is much more ; s direct and accurate after viewing these images, which have become part of the usual techniques of treating diseases in Western medicine today .

But overall investment Radon transform is a very costly process, mainly by the volume of information accumulated-note that this operation must be repeated as many times as necessary down and up the front axle in order to obtain an accurate three-dimensional image inside the patient. Not all medical institutions can afford the maintenance adquisicióny CT equipment to obtain the best possible definition, and the scanners used in most health centers offer some approximation errors & # 243; n derived from these technological deficiencies.
One possible solution to this problem was proposed in the early of 90. Instead of investing the Radon transform, we can proceed to use a linear combination operator "lambda" and its inverse, which are nothing more than the ra & # 237; z square Laplacian and Riesz transform. These operators offer the possibility of recovering, not already a picture of the inside of the subject, but an idea of the location of the edges of the various parts that are divided each of the cuts.
Sometimes, the latter leading to better analysis, visualization and understanding of the internal anatomy of the subjects, and has the added advantage of being much more stable your computer, and much more fa ; easy to store electronically, as they require less data.

Blood Check Lab In Toronto

Violence! Electoral Observer

The day before year's end, as we strolled through the center Nicollet shopping in the heart of the city of Minneapolis, we feel something strange happening in one of the shops. Almost no time to think, I took the camera and took a couple of snapshots, which of course moves and blurred out because I did not stand up to choose the best and flash while everything was happening.

then looking at them, one gets a little confusing because it is not clear that's happening unless someone explains it. A better picture worth a thousand words? I'm not so sure. What do you think happened?
