X Competition "Reading Science for All"



Mexico, 23 Sep (Notimex) .- In 1989, Fondo de Cultura Economica (FCE) began one of the greatest scientific and technological crossings from Mexico, the National Contest "Read Science for All", in which involved young people between 12 and 23 years, with the objective of popularizing science in this country.
The invitation to participate in the National Competition II X Iberoamerican "Reading Science for All 2006-2008", was released on November 7, 2006 and the closing reception of works will receive 65 000 201 of all categories.

The young participants wrote a summary, review or essay, depending on their age, about some of the 217 existing titles in the series "Science for All" and sent to the local offices of FCE.
The winning entries were 413, for all categories, highlighting the category "F" for students Subsystem Technological University, where jobs were more winners than any other, with 144.

Winners were awarded to a stimulus, a diploma and a lot of books. The first places across the country, in addition to the above, get five days of academic activities in Mexico City. Minors traveling unaccompanied by an adult.
